Anyway, Bogut has signed a two-year deal with the Kings, and made it clear that he fully intends to remain in Australia, regardless of what offers come knocking at his front door. That includes The Association because, according to Fox Sports Australia writer Olgun Uluc, he's retired from the NBA.

What may have sweetened the deal for Bogut was part ownership in the Kings. As it currently stands, he has a 10 percent stake. However, the 33-year-old is looking to secure a 50 percent stake down the road.

Bogut, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2005 draft, averaged 12.4 points per game.
