Glen “Big Baby” Davis caught what is shaping up to be the latest in an ongoing series of Ls, as various media outlets report that Davis was arrested on drug charges from a February incident in Aberdeen, Maryland. Baltimore ABC affiliate WMAR first reported the news on Friday, and according to WMAR’s Brian Kuebler, Davis could be facing up to seven counts of drug possession and distribution.

Court records show Davis was staying at a Holiday Inn in Aberdeen when the hotel owner smelled marijuana coming from Davis’ room. After someone in the room reportedly dismissed the owner, local police returned and Davis gave written consent to search the premises.

“They recovered 126 grams of marijuana,” Aberdeen Police Lieutenant William Reiber told ABC. “In addition to that there was a briefcase that contained $92,164 of U.S. currency along with a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics.”

Per ABC, the ledger contained quarter pound baggies and names of people who owed money. Court records also show Davis told police he was in business with a Los Angeles marijuana wholesaler. Recreational marijuana is legal in California, but not in Maryland, where Davis was arrested. Maryland only allows use of medicinal marijuana.

Reiber said an investigation is still ongoing.

According to data obtained by ESPN, Davis earned $6 million during the 2014 season and $6.6 million during the 2015 season. Sportrac.com estimates Davis’ career NBA earnings at over $33 million.

Davis last played in the NBA during the 2014-15 season when he was a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.
