It looks like Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor weren't able to just settle their differences once and for all after squaring off in the ring in August. On Wednesday, Mayweather posted a message for McGregor alongside a headline claiming that a bounty was placed on the head of The Notorious after allegedly punching someone with close ties to the Irish cartel. "I already fucked you up in 2017 now they about to fuck you up in 2018," Floyd wrote. "You're about to start your new year off with a bang."

The rumor stems from a report that McGregor allegedly struck the father of a senior member of Ireland's Kinahan cartel at a Dublin pub. In the past, Conor has denied the validity of the rumor.

After leaving the Blanchardstown District Court in Dublin, Ireland after pleading guilty for a speeding charge back in November, McGregor was approached outside the courthouse by photographers who asked him about this same rumor. "It's all bollocks,” he said. "I thought I was in bleedin’ Lanzarote?" When further pressed about the matter, Conor directed a message to the alleged Irish cartel involved in this story, saying, "Come and get me."

In response to Floyd's tweet, McGregor simply stated, "I am the cartel."
