Former Rams running back Tre Mason is in trouble with the law again. Another warrant has been issued for Mason’s arrest after he failed to show up to a mandatory court date Wednesday, according to TMZ.

Mason, the 23-year-old former Auburn star, was pulled over and ticketed for driving with a suspended license Aug. 13, and was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 7. TMZ reports his bond will be set at $2,000 when Mason turns himself in.

Mason is not currently with the Rams. Last month, Mason’s mom gave some troubling insight into Mason’s plight. She said he had changed since the end of last season, and he was “22 in a 10-year-old’s mindset.”

Mason’s downward spiral started in March, when he was tazed for failing to cooperate with an officer during a marijuana arrest. Since then, he’s been in headline after headline for repeated troubles.

Mason was a third-round pick in 2014. He rushed for 207 yards and one touchdown last year, after putting up pretty good rookie year stats of 765 yards and four touchdowns.

This has been a bizarre and troubling offseason for Mason. We can only hope he turns himself in and gets help soon.
