If you're famous, or semi-famous, or were once famous, and you travel on a plane, TMZ will find you.

That's what happened to Tracy McGrady last week at LAX when he had to field an improvised interview about his nixed Scottie Pippen trade, his comments about No. 1 pick Ben Simmons, Argentinian soccer, and specifically, Lionel Messi saying he was going to retire from international play after Argentina's tough loss in the Copa America final.

As you can see above (you know, instead of reading), the off-screen questioner asked McGrady if Messi's spur of the moment decision was "[A] bit of a bitch move?"

McGrady quickly responded to the question by expressing a sentiment that used to be a lot more common in America about 10 to 20 years ago, "I don't know. I know nothing about soccer."

Pressed further about the sport McGrady casually admitted "I've yet to watch a soccer game. I've never watched a soccer game [in my whole life.]"

Asked if that means he hasn't even tuned in to watch America at some point he continued with the theme, saying "No. You want the truth? No." He further stated that "I just can't get into it. I can't sit there and go back and forth to maybe see one goal (...) I'm not about to watch 90 minutes of soccer and no one scores. I just can't do that."

McGrady's answers likely won't sit well with the massive worldwide community that has embraced the adrenaline rush watching a bunch of guys kick a ball around for an hour and a half without scoring can bring.

But, that being said, he's got no argument here.
