One determined Uncle Rico man, who we can only assume has watched the Mark Wahlberg classic Invincible many, many times, has been standing in the parking lot outside Gillette Stadium for weeks in the hopes that the New England Patriots will notice him and give him a tryout.

Boston station WCVB reports that Abiola Aborishade began his campaign at the end of April, and has been spending seven hours a day at Foxborough holding his sign that reads "talented, hardworking athlete, hoping for a chance to prove myself." He gets there in the morning before the team arrives for workouts, and he's still there when they leave. He keeps his cleats with him, just in case, Philadelphia's WPVI reports.

"I'm hoping that at some point they'll drive by and say, 'OK, we want to see what you can do'," Aborishade told the station.

So far, it hasn't worked, but that doesn't mean Aborishade, who played college ball for Division III UMass Dartmouth where he caught 84 passes in his senior year, hasn't caught anyone's attention. Pats cornerback Malcolm Butler posted a photo of Aborishade to his Facebook page and tagged it #NEVERGIVEUP.

Hopefully this guy can be rewarded with some kind of a shot considering his insane level of determination, and he definitely has some skills based on the way he jumps over a defender in this YouTube highlight.

Whether or not those skills are on an NFL level is another question, though. Sometimes #nevergiveup is actually #maybeitstimetogiveup, unless you want to risk becoming this guy.
