Where is Dwight Howard going to end up by the time Thursday rolls around? That’s the question that everyone is trying to answer right now. He’s made it clear that he wants to stay with the Rockets for the rest of the season, but Houston is reportedly shopping him around at the moment and they may have found some interest in South Beach.
According to New York Daily News reporter Frank Isola, the Rockets and Heat have been discussing a deal involving Howard and Hassan Whiteside in the days leading up to the NBA’s trade deadline:
At this point, there are no other details available about the potential trade, but it’s worth nothing that Isola reported that the Celticswere interested in acquiring Howard earlier this month and that deal never materialized.
