New York Giants defensive tackle Jay Bromley is being accused of trying to rape a women he met on Instagram early Saturday morning. After Bromley picked up the 26-year-old woman at her home, the two got a room at the Hyatt Herald Square Hotel.
According to the New York Daily News, "the woman performed oral sex on Bromley but then didn’t want to go further." That is when she claims the 23-year-old defensive tackle tried to rape her.
When they decided to go their separate ways, the woman demanded Bromley drive her back home, but he declined. She allegedly responded by jumping on the hood of his car in an effort to prevent him from leaving, however, Bromley continued to drive and she fell off the vehicle, sustaining injuries to her legs and knees.
At around 4 a.m., the woman notified the authorities. She was taken to a nearby hospital where a rape kit test was performed. At this moment, no charges have been filed.
