Tonight J.R. Smith broke Paul George's preseason ankles, though we should clarify that it wasn't literal. 99 percent of the time you already know that to be the case, we just thought we should clear it up for any Pacers fans cringing any time George steps on the floor. Eventually that fear of re-injury will subside, probably.
Anyway this embarrassing cross seems to be as good a test as any for a guy who's knee injury is still burned into the minds of anybody who saw the horrifying video, which you can watch here (but probably shouldn't).
