This weekend, the WWE is holding their annual Hell in a Cellpay-per-view live event on the WWE Network, which will feature what many think is the final match between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker and take place in the dreaded Hell in a Cell steel cage (as will the latest match between Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns).

While this event has been a staple of the WWE's pay-per-view calendar since 2009, the actual monstrosity known as the Hell in a Cell (which currently weighs five tons and is a massive 20-feet high) has been around in the WWE since 1997 (when Shawn Michaels took on the Undertaker at Badd Blood), with a total of 30 matches taking place in this structure so far.  The good folks over at Rukkus hooked up this interesting infographic looking at the 30 matches that have taken place inside Hell in a Cell so far, and it gives off some interesting facts.

  • Of the 30 Hell in a Cell matches in WWE history, there have only been 33 participants.
  • The Undertaker and Triple H have appeared in a combined total of 20 Hell in a Cell matches (they've only faced each other twice, and are tied for the most wins at six apiece).
  • A title has only changed hands three times in a Hell in a Cell match.

Peep this unique look at the Hell in a Cell's brutal history, which even includes the heights of some of the biggest falls, and place your bets for this Sunday's show.
