Hulk Hogan is still dealing with the backlash that he started to receive on Friday after the National Enquirer revealed that he used the N-word multiple times during a racist rant that was captured on a sex tape a few years ago. It's a backlash that he's going to be forced to deal with for a long, long time, even though he issued an apology almost immediately late last week.
But curiously, there have also been plenty of people showing public support for Hogan over the last few days. From his friends like Dennis Rodman to some WWE fans, it's clear that there are quite a few folks who are willing to forgive Hogan for his transgression. He thanked those people on Twitter late last night:
But Hogan also retweeted a tweet that featured "citizen journalist" @WolfsheadOnline wondering why it was acceptable for President Obama to use the N-word during an interview last month but not acceptable for Hogan to do it:
And it's got people wondering what in the world Hogan is thinking right now. It's one thing for other people to agree with a tweet like that and retweet it. But why did he think that it was a good idea to RT it?
Here are some of the reactions that he's getting to it:
If you thought this Hogan thing was going to die down now that it's a new week, you're wrong. Hogan seems to be thinking positive this morning, judging by this series of tweets that he sent out:
But his latest retweet is likely going to lead to another round of outrage. SMH.
UPDATE:
Hulk Hogan should probably get off Twitter ASAP. In addition to the retweet above, he's also been retweeting fans who have been showing their support for him. Just one problem: Those "fans" have actually been trolls who are attaching images of soccer stars to their tweets.
