Kyrie Irving isn't going to be able to play in the remainder of the 2015 NBA Finals because of the fractured knee cap that he suffered during Game 1. But that isn't going to stop him from doing everything in his power to show support for his team. Just listen to what he tried to do last night.

During the first half of the Cavaliers' Game 3 victory over the Warriors, Irving watched as his teammate Iman Shumpert went back to the locker room with a shoulder injury. And according to Irving, his first instinct was to grab his iPhone and try to FaceTime Shump so that he could give him a quick pep talk and help him get back out on the court.

"I'm as crazy as trying to FaceTime Iman Shumpert when he goes into the locker room for his shoulder just to talk to him, just to give him a five-minute pep talk about how much we all need him," he said. "I sit back now and I'm just an admirer of all these guys."

Shump was presumably too busy to talk to Irving, which is why Irving reportedly found other things to do on his phone during the game:

1.

But it's nice to hear just how focused Irving is on trying to help his teammates, even though he can't play right now.
