If the Hawks are going to make a deep run in the 2015 NBA Playoffs this spring, they're going to have to do it without the services of Thabo Sefolosha. According to reports out of Atlanta, the reserve forward suffered a broken tibia early Wednesday morning when he was involved in an incident outside of the New York City nightclub 1 OAK.

It's still a little bit unclear what Sefolosha and his teammate Pero Antic did to get arrested outside the club a short time after Pacers forward Chris Copeland was stabbed during an altercation with a 22-year-old man named Shezoy Bleary. But an Atlanta Journal-Constitution report indicates that Sefolosha charged police officers in an "aggressive manner" and had to be restrained by four cops before being handcuffed. During the melee, he also reportedly sustained a broken leg and had to receive medical treatment after being hauled off to a police precinct.

The Hawks haven't confirmed the injury report yet. But it could be a big blow to Atlanta. Sefolosha averaged about five points and four rebounds this season while playing about 19 minutes per game. Stay tuned for further details.
