Greivis Vasquez Hits Game-Tying 3, Then Shimmies Like a Champion

Shimmy young man, shimmy

Ultimately, the Toronto Raptors would lose Game 1, and with it home court advantage, in overtime to the Washington Wizards in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs. But the Drakes Raps, down 14 at one point in the fourth quarter, staged a furious comeback to get within three points with under 40 seconds left.

That's when former Maryland standout Greivis Vasquez pulled up and nailed a 3 to tie the game and put The 6 into a frenzy, then busted out a shimmy the likes of which we haven't seen since the Roaring Twenties. So yeah, ultimately the Raptors lost. But really, they won just for the pure amazingness of Vasquez's shimmying.
