The media is getting real tired of these athletes and their one-word responses, repetitive answers and smart remarks. Following the Detroit Pistons' 98-96 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday, Fox Sports' sideline reporter Grant Long asked Greg Monroe about the team's ability to win the close games. Monroe decided to remain silent, so Long responded by jabbing him with the microphone.
The description on YouTube claims Long and Monroe were just joking around, but the look on the Pistons forward's face afterwards suggests otherwise. But hey, maybe they were. We would love to see one of these reporters pull this stunt on Russell Westbrook or Marshawn Lynch. Actually, on second thought, don't even dare do that.
