There are a lot of angry Jets fans out there who really, really, really want Jets owner Woody Johnson to fire his general manager John Idzik after the 2014-15 NFL season. A few of them got together recently and raised a bunch of money to put up a "FIRE JOHN IDZIK!" billboard. And even casual Jets fans have gotten onboard by using the #FireIdzik hashtag. Just look here to see all of the tweets that are out there.

Is Johnson himself in favor of firing Idzik, though? That's still TBD. But earlier this week, he did get caught favoriting a #FireIdzik tweet on Twitter. Someone captured a screengrab of him doing it:

1.

And it had a lot of Jets fans saying, "YAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!"

But unfortunately for those fans, Johnson's "favorite" turned out to be an accident. He took to Twitter last night to explain what happened and to apologize for favoriting the fan's tweet:

So we're sorry, Jets fans! But it sounds like you might be stuck with Idzik. Er, at least for now. So don't take the billboards down just yet.
