Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall isn't going to be playing football for awhile. But something tells us that, at the moment, football is probably the last thing on Marshall's mind.
Last night, Marshall got knocked out of Chicago's game against the Cowboys when he took a knee to the back on a tackle. And unfortunately, the Bears just revealed that Marshall sustained two broken ribs and an injured lung on the play. He's still in the hospital due to the lung injury:
As you'd probably expect, that means that Marshall won't play against the Saints in the Bears' next game. And he might miss some additional time after that as well:
Prayers up for Marshall. He's been one of the lone bright spots for Chicago this season.
