FEAR THE RISE OF SC PADERBORN 07! Paderborn, a 107 year old club, was promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time in its history this season. Not only that, but they're killing it so far (it's a long season). Thanks to Moritz Stoppelkamp's goal (as seen above), Paderborn was able to secure a 2-0 victory over Hannover 96 today, which propelled them to FIRST PLACE in the Bundesliga.

So how the hell was Stoppelkamp able to pull the trigger from 83 meters (about 90 yards)? Trailing 1-0 in the second half stoppage time, Hanover goal keeper Ron-Robert Zieler charged forward for a last-chance free-kick. Paderborn cleared the ball to Stoppelkamp, who flashed outstanding technique to control the ball and unleash a monster of a volley into an unsupervised Hannover goal.

Stoppelkamp's wonder strike broke the Bundesliga record for longest goal by ten meters.
