Churchill Downs, the site of the Kentucky Derby, is a holy ground for horse racing. So defiling the track with a car is like blasphemy, even if driver uses a whip named after a horse. A Louisville subcontracter working at Churchill Downs was caught on camera doing donuts in a Ford Mustang on the track. An employee turned him in, and now he's facing a charge for criminal mischief

Police say Benjamin S. Bratcher, 37, fessed up to his donuts and "did not believe that he caused that much damage." In reality, he caused more than $1,000 in damage to track and probably much more to the hearts of horse racing enthusiasts. It'd be like someone burning rubber at Madison Square Garden.
