LeBron James is no stranger to rapping. Over the years, we've heard him rap along to everything from Young Jeezy's "Supafreak" to Juvenile's "Back Dat Azz Up" with varying degrees of success. Last summer, he even jacked Jay Z and Kanye West's "N****s in Paris" beat for a freestyle. But we've never heard him rap like this before.
Very early this morning, TMZ Sports got their hands on some exclusive audio of King James dropping a verse over the beat for Jay Z and Rick Ross' hit "F**kWithMeYouKnowIGotIt." And it's not just a freestyle. LeBron reworked the hook for the song, dropped a verse on it, and even added some of his own ad-libs. And you know what? It's not half-bad. We're not really clamoring to hear more from LeBron or anything. But this is way more than we were expecting from him.
According to TMZ Sports, LeBron recorded this verse last summer during a studio session with his childhood friend Sian Cotton, who is an aspiring rapper. Press play on the clip above to hear LeBron drop some bars.
