A lot of people probably guessed the idea of winning $1 billion was too good to be true. This is still $1 billion, so of course, fans gave the Quicken Loans Billion Dollar Challenge with Yahoo Sports a shot. And, of course, no one is actually winning.

As great as watching Duke lose was, it messed up a lot of brackets. George Washington's loss to Memphis on Friday effectively killed off all hopes of a winner, according to Ken Fuchs, VP/Group Lead Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance and Product Partnerships:

They don’t call it madness because the games are boring — Duke going down left my own bracket in flames. With the loss by George Washington, there are officially no more perfect brackets in the Quicken Loans Billion Dollar Challenge with Yahoo Sports. We started with millions, then we were down to 16 after the New Mexico loss. And now, alas, we have reached the end of the road to riches.

Calculating the perfect formula wasn’t enough to overcome upsets by teams like Harvard, Dayton and North Dakota State. That’s why this is shaping up to be one of the most exciting tournaments in all of sports.

Would've been a bit more "exciting" if someone was actually $1 billion richer. Oh, well...
