There's always that question of truth or fiction when it comes to the WWE, but it looked like CM Punk was really donewith the business for a while. WWE writers reportedly had to re-write parts of one episode of Raw because of his departure, and the company's website even stopped advertising his upcoming events.
We may see tomorrow if this is true or not. Dave Meltzer, a journalist who covers wrestling, said the fan favorite is expected to return to the WWE as soon as tomorrow's episode of Raw in Chicago. He said he's not 100 percent certain, but noted his source—“one of the biggest stars in the industry"—is.
Again, you never quite know with the WWE, but this next episode of Raw is only a little over 24 hours away.
