In an attempt to avenge the epic Marshawn Lynch sonning from their prior playoff meeting*, the Saints tried to make a comeback after getting owned by the Seahawks' defense. It looked like it was coming for a second. Drew Brees' deep pass was looking like it was going to be picked off because league interception leader Richard Sherman was in the vicinity along with Byron Maxwell, but the ball bounced off the former's finger tips and into the grasp of Robert Meachem for a 52-yard catch.
Miracles are a fleeting deal though. The Saints drive sputtered, and they badly missed the following field goal. With a surprise 3rd and short long pass to Doug Baldwin and a Marshawn Lynch touchdown, Seahawks pushed to lead to 23-8.
*You can never make up for this.
