Did Paul Pierce have "a fine from the NBA" on his Christmas list?! If so, he can rest easy tonight. Because he's definitely getting one from Santa!
During the Pacers/Nets game last night, Pierce attempted to stop George Hill from scoring an uncontested layup. And he chose to do it by blatantly clotheslining Hill and nearly knocking his block off. The hit earned him an immediate ejection and will very likely earn him a substantial fine from the league as well.
Peep the hard hit in the clip above. Safe to say Pierce isn't in the holiday spirit just yet, eh?
