It has been a crazy summer for Lamar Odom, to say the least. After rumors surfaced of a possible heavy drug addiction in late August, Odom's life took a tailspin and the media was there every step of the way. From speaking with the supposed drug dealer who sold Lamar $16,000 worth of cocaine to a disappearing act by L.O. to a recent DUI arrest, with each new story, it became clear that the guy needed help. But first, Odom needed to acknowledge that he needed help.
It looks like Lamar has finally reached that point. People is reporting that Odom has checked himself into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. We genuinely hope that Lamar gets the help he needs and comes back to the NBA when he's ready. Get better, L.O.!
