At Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida, pilots trained against the first ever pilotless fighter jet. Boeing's QF-16 is controlled by two pilots on the ground but there is no one sitting in the cockpit. The jet is still able to perform maneuvers like turns and barrel rolls at an altitude of 40,000 feet and mach 1.47 speeds, creating a moving and life-like target for other F-16 pilots to fire on and engage with. In this video, Boeing and the Air Force set up cameras in the ghostjet for its test flight. It's creepy to see clouds and other planes in the background without a body in front of the camera, but the takeoff, rolls, and landing are awesome.
