Depending on your tastes, it's possible that you may not understand certain aspects of Japanese culture, or that you may even find them a little strange. Anime, for instance, isn't for everyone. Neither are vending machines that dispense any number of unorthodox curios. But, that's okay! Different strokes for different folks, y'know?
That being said: this one is a bit of a head-scratcher, even for us. Using the ghost girl character from the the Japanese film, Ringu (which American filmmakers later adapted into The Ring), this baseball team staged one of the weirdest/creepiest ceremonial first pitches in any game of baseball that we've ever seen.
