On Saturday night, Bill Parcells will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But his former friend, WFAN radio host Mike Francesa, will not be there to cheer him on. Although the two once shared a great relationship, Francesa was asked by Newsday writer Neil Best whether or not he would be in Canton, Ohio this weekend to help Parcells celebrate. And Francesa revealed that he won't be there because he wasn't asked to be there by Parcells.
"I wasn't invited," he said.
Francesa also said that he won't show up on his own to cheer on his old friend. Maybe his invitation just got lost in the mail? Er, yeah, we wouldn't count on it.
