Victor Cruz didn't get the long-term contract that he wanted to get from the New York Giants this offseason. But he will reportedly still be back with the team next season. According to ESPN New York, Cruz just signed a one year restricted free-agent tender worth approximately $2.9 million in order to remain with the G-Men through the 2013-14 NFL season. He will continue to try and negotiate a long-term deal with the team. But for now, Giants fans can rest assured knowing that their Pro Bowl wide receiver will be back in the mix next season.

"I'm going to sign my tender tonight and will continue talks for a long-term deal before camp starts," Cruz said earlier today.

Salsa dance to that.
