Former NBA all-star Mookie Blaylock has been charged with vehicular homicide following a horrific head-on collision on a highway about 20 miles south of Atlanta. The crash killed a 43-year-old woman was was riding in the passenger seat of a Dodge minivan traveling in the opposite direction.
Blaylock also faces a litany of other charges stemming from the accident including driving on a suspended license and failure to maintain his lane position.
According to investigators, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. However, Blaylock, who is still hospitalized, told authorities he blacked out just before the collision.
