Ranking Every NBA Finals MVP

36. Kobe Bryant (2010)

Team: Los Angeles Lakers
Opponent: Boston Celtics
Result: Lakers over Celtics, 4-3
Finals stats: 28.6 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.9 APG, 2.1 SPG

Despite failing to shoot over 50 percent in any of the series' seven games (including a 6 for 24 performance in Game 7), Kobe took home MVP honors on the strength of his high-volume scoring and penchant for making huge shots in key moments during this hotly-contested rematch of the 2008 Finals.

One area Kobe did not struggle in was at the free throw line, as the Lakers' star shot a combined 53 for 60 from the charity stripe and missed more than one free throw in a game only once. His dominance on the boards (15 rebounds) in Game 7 against an undermanned Celtics squad missing center Kendrick Perkins was the epitome of clutch, as the Lakers were able to generate the numerous extra chances that ultimately provided them with the winning margin.
