Britain's Most Ludicrous Supercar Maker is Poised for a Come Back

It sure seems like it.

TVR's cars were the English equivalent of the Dodge Viper: powerful, fun, and more than a bit terrifying. They were feisty, and they had a penchant for flinging their owners into ditches and trees. An expert driver would have a ton of fun in a TVR, but a novice could get into a ton of trouble. We miss these beasts, but can understand why owner Nikolay Smolensky found that there was no financial case for a new TVR in 2012.

Now an English businessman by the name of Les Edgar has purchased TVR, and simply told the world to "watch this space." As of now, there's no real schedule, and Mr. Edgar plans to take whatever amount of time he needs to "get it right."

We're just happy to see that lunacy is back in style.
