Driving While Using Medical Marijuana is Now Legal in Michigan

But only if it's medical, of course.

None

A motorist in Michigan was pulled over for doing 83 mph in a 55 mph zone and tested positive for marijuana at 10 nanograms per milliliter of THC. Rather than accepting what must have been a hell of a speeding ticket and a DUI, he took it to court, and the 86th District Court decided that the threshold for for a marijuana DUI should be 50 nanograms per milliliter, assuming that the pot was imbibed legally.

While this is certainly a big deal for the medical marijuana users of Michigan, we also wouldn't be surprised to see this guideline proliferate, now that a precident has been set.
