We realize we're mixing sports right now. But NFL legend Dan Marino once said, "There is no defense for a perfect pass." And that quote seems to apply pretty well here. No matter what the Aston Villa defenders would have done on this play today, there was absolutely no way they were going to stop Manchester United's Robin van Persie from scoring this goal. Wayne Rooney put his pass exactly where it needed to be—and van Persie finished the job. Such a beautiful goal.
