As crazy as this Oscar Pistorius case has been, it's easy to forget how inspiring the double amputee was last summer. The runner won two gold medals in the London 2012 Paralympics, giving South Africa something to be proud of. Now his image has taken a steep downfall, and according to his friend Mike Azzie, Pistorius is seeing no way to redeem himself. The source believes the Olympian may be on the verge of taking his own life:
"I would say that, just speaking to him, that he is a broken man and that I would go as far to say that he would be on the verge of suicide. It really worries me."
Extremely unfortunate, needless to say. But is it shame or guilt that's getting to him?
