Badass: Named Portugal Captain and Given No. 7 Shirt
Most dudes spend the day after their 22nd birthday being hung over, eating greasy food, and looking for their dealer's number. Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 22nd by receiving the ultimate honor: the captain's armband for his native Portugal. The move was made to honor former Portuguese Football Federation president Carlos Silva, who passed away two days earlier. Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari gave Ronaldo the honor because he said it was Silva's wish to see this, although Scolari himself thought CR was too young. CR was officially given the armband and the No. 7 shirt in 2008 by coach Carlos Queiroz at Euro 2008, an honor he wouldn't relinquish.
