Soft don't live in Kevin Garnett's paint, and it hasn't for 17 years. K.G. became the first draftee to go straight from high school to the league in 20 years when he did it in 1995, and fortunately for him, that wasn't his only achievement. Garnett led the Timberwolves in scoring for 11 consecutive seasons and carried them to eight straight playoff appearances with his near-unmatched intensity, defense, and automatic jump shot.

But after years of never making it past the Western Conference Finals, K.G. was traded to the Celtics to form the "Big 3" with Paul Pierce and Ray Allen. The NBA great won his first ring in his first season there, validating his years of hard work and giving us one of the most emotional (and awkward?) post-championship moments ever.

Kevin Garnett. Beast in the paint. Sultan of the shit-talk.
