Kobe Bryant Doesn't Seem to Care Whether or Not the Lakers Trade Dwight Howard This Season

Is he waving the white flag?

2013 NBA All-Star Game MVP Chris Paul probably isn't going to sign with whatever team Dwight Howard signs with this offseason. According to a piece posted early this morning by Yahoo! Sports writer Adrian Wojnarowski, CP3 is happy with the Clippers, so it doesn't sound like he's going to jump ship when he becomes a free agent this summer simply to team up with Howard. But, that's not the most interesting piece of news to come out of Wojnarowski's story.

In addition to all of the CP3/Howard talk, Wojnarowski also includes a quote from Kobe Bryant in the piece that pretty much sums up where Bryant and Howard's relationship stands right now. When asked about the possibility of Howard getting traded before the NBA trade deadline on Thursday, Kobe doesn't really seem to care whether or not Howard gets moved.

"I don't know what they're going to do," he told Wojnarowski, referring to the Lakers front office. "At this point, it doesn't matter."

Errrrrrr…It doesn't matter? Something tells us that's not exactly the answer Lakers fans were hoping for, now was it?
