This is why you should never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever talk trash to a player like LeBron James.

As we told you last night, Reggie Evans spent the hours leading up to last night's Heat/Nets game trying to discredit the championship that LeBron & Co. won last season. So, after Miami dismantled Brooklyn 105-85 at the Barclays Center last night, King James took some parting shots at Evans for disrespecting the reigning champs.

"You can't just come out and say something like that versus a champion," said James, who tallied 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists in the contest. "No one knows what it takes unless you've done it. You can't sit here and judge and talk about a team winning a championship unless you've done it. [Evans] hasn't done it."

He didn't stop there, either. Bron-Bron also ripped Evans for his lack of production during the game.

"Let me look at his numbers real quick," he said. "He had no offensive rebounds, so we did our number on him."

And, finally, James said that he didn't exchange any words for Evans after the game.

"For what?" he asked reporters. "I'm not going to sit here and give Reggie Evans a lot of press."

Oops. Too late. But, not to worry. Something tells us that this is not the kind of press Reggie Evans wants right now.
