18. Darren Collison, Dallas Mavericks
2011-2012 Stats: 10.4 PPG 3.1 RPG 4.8 APG 0.8 SPG
2012-2013 Salary: $2.3 million
Darren popped up on everyone's radar when CP3 went down with a couple injuries during the 2009-2010 season. During his 37 games as the Hornets starter, Collison had a Lin-esque performance, averaging 18 and 9. He even dished 18 or more dimes twice during that stretch, both Hornets rookie records.
After being traded to the Pacers, Collison was a major part of their resurgence as legit threats in the Eastern Conference until he lost his gig to George Hill last year. He was traded along with Dahntay Jones to the Mavs for backup center Ian Mahinmi, in a move for the future that left many Pacer fans scratching their heads. He's a quality point guard that can score, dish and plays exceptional perimeter defense. He and OJ are going to run wild in the West if all goes well.
