LeBron James isn't even thinking about joining the Los Angeles Lakers…yet.

Yesterday, a rumor starting circulating about how LBJ might be open to joining the Lake Show in 2014 when he'll have the ability to opt out of his current contract with the Heat. We ignored it at first, because, well, it's completely ridiculous to start talking about what LBJ will do in 2014 when the 2012-13 NBA season hasn't even started. But, someone asked him to respond to the rumors last night—and he did—so now it's become more of a story. But, don't worry, Miami fans: King James isn't planning on leaving the 305 anytime soon.

"I'm here," he said, "and this is what it's all about. I'm preparing for this season, preparing to defend our title, and that's it…That story, I don't know where it came from, but I understand why it came up because of who I am—it's going to happen. But, I'm not going to worry about it. I've got to continue to stay focused with these guys and make sure we're ready for any challenges that come."

So, for now, consider the LeBron-to-the-Lakers story dead. But, let's revisit it in about two years when it actually matters.
