NBA rookies usually experience a season full of ebbs and flows. Last week rookie point guard Scott Machado was fighting for one of the final roster spots on the Houston Rockets. To make things even worse, the Rockets made a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder acquiring James Harden along with three other players.
With all of the trades and player movement, Jeremy Lin must've gotten confused and called Machado thinking he was the traded Jeremy Lamb. Lin offered his best wishes and some words of motivation, but failed to realize he called the wrong number of a rookie who was very worried about being cut.
