Lincoln, Ford's luxury brand, may look to challenge European rivals with a new compact car by years end. The brand debuted the C Concept in January of 2011, but hasn't pulled trigger yet on manufacture. The new Lincoln lineup promises full refresh by 2015, by which time we'll most certainly see small scale American luxury.
