Listen, we understand that the NFL replacement referees haven't been great. So, we're not particularly surprised that everyone from Steve Young to Bill Belichick has been super critical of them. What we are surprised at, though, is what lengths some people are going to rip the replacement refs to shreds. Case in point: The reaction that Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes had to the replacement refs "zebras" shortly after last night's Pats/Ravens game, which featured 24 accepted penalties and a gang of bad calls.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Can someone please tell these fucking zebras foot locker called and they’re needed Back at work !!!! #BreakingPoint
I thought after Noah’s Ark & the great flood, God said he wouldn’t punish us again..well how do u explain what happen 2nite ?! Ijs #PoWwWwW

We get that the NFL players don't want the replacement refs anymore. But, Noah's Ark? The Great Flood? Wow! Has it really gotten that serious?
