Sometimes, the screws are a little loose. But at 24 years old, JaVale McGee would be a steal for any team looking to build their future around a defensive-minded seven-footer with an exceptional shot blocking ability. After being traded to the Nuggets on March 15, 2012, JaVale played in only 20 games (five of which he actually started) and compiled averages of 10.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Small sample size indeed, but that brief stint was all the Denver front office needed to not only re-sign McGee, but to also throw a lucrative four-year, $44 million contract in his direction.

Prior to officially inking the new deal, JaVale sent out this tweet:

Just signed with Denver, could not be happier! Thank you to the Kroenke family and the fans for their support. twitter.com/JaValeMcGee34/…

As well as McGee posing with the rest of the Denver Nuggets family and an image of his mother crying tears of joy. Hit the thumbs to check them out. All jokes aside, congrats homie!
