It seems Tupac's hologram performance at this year's Coachella was only the beginning. At twice the cost of hiring humans to do the job, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has installed interactive video avatars to serve as customer service representatives in airports around the New York City area, including JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia.
