The avalanche of big NFL moves continued Wednesday following the opening of free agency on Tuesday. Former Browns running back and Madden coverboy Peyton Hillis is the most recent to make a move, landing in Kansas City. Hillis gained 1,654 yards from scrimmage in 2010, but had a terrible year last season due to off-field issues coupled with repeated injuries. He has also switched agents multiple times over the past year.
Appreciate all my fans in Cleveland for the support given to me in my time there. Can't wait to get back on the field and go to work in KC.— Peyton Hillis (@thepeytonhillis) March 14, 2012
Although Hillis should enjoy the run-heavy offense in KC, it will be interesting to see how he handles being second back to Jamaal Charles, who will be returning from a devastating torn ACL last season.
