Jason Taylor, veteran linebacker for the Miami Dolphins, has been in the NFL for 15 years. He claims it has never been about him, but it is easy to say that he has been one of the best defensive players of the past two decades. He started his career with the Dolphins and ended in Miami, but also contributed to the Redskins and Jets in between.

Over the years he has made 774 tackles, 139.5 sacks, and forced 49 fumbles. After receiving the game ball in the final game of the season and of his career, he tearfully fought through a speech in which he said he is the luckiest guy in the world and that the football locker room is the best fraternity in the world. After raising your glass for the new year, let's raise one for Mr. Taylor.
