The Mets never fail to fail, do they? During yesterday's game against the Cardinals, Mets outfielder Angel Pagan fouled off a pitch, followed through on his swing, and then somehow managed to almost knock himself out by hitting the back of his head with his bat.
Sigh. If you really wanted out of the game that bad, Angel, all you needed to do was ask. At this point, it's not like it really matters anyway. [via Outside The Box Score]
