With bicycles becoming increasingly more artistic by the day, it's only natural that helmets follow suit. But some of the hottest designs do little, if anything, to protect ya neck (and more importantly, ya head). This design by Japanese artist Masataka Kurashina, in collaboration with local design store TOKYO CULTUARTS by BEAMS, takes it a step further. The "Flame Frame", available in both black and white is a super-cool sculpted design, that provides zero protection whatsoever.

In all fairness, the Flame Frame is not being marketed as a helmet, but as a collectible item for design lovers. Available from JapanTrendShop, it'll cost you a mere $890 to put one on your mantle. Yeah, that's another bike, but so goes the price of fine art, right?
